Remove Hotmail Ad-Bar from Outlook Express 5.x

Ever got pissed by the annoying Hotmail Ad-bar in Outlook Express 5.x when accessing Hotmail accounts vie OLE client? Well you are now EMpowered to remove it. Just do a small tweak in the Windoz registry and Voila! This comes after I extensively search the net for information but was able to find none which did the trick without installing or replacing additional s/w or dll's. This is the CLEANEST way out!

Procedure:-

1. Open registry
2. Search for "AdBar Url" [U will find it in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Account Manager\Accounts\xxxxxxxx]
3. Remove the original Value data under "AdBar Url" Value and replace it with any other url of your choice.
4. Close registry
5. Have fun thereafter!
