My Palm IIIx Graveyard

This page is dedicated in the memory of my first Palm IIIx PDA [1999-June 2000]

Below lies the last remains of my previous Palm IIIx. These are the last pictures I have. The story is simple. One fine day I woke up only to see dat the LCD screen is not coming evenly. Only few of the columns in the LCD matrix were active rest boom. I guess this must have happened due to excess shocks, which must have broken the LCD circuit. I tried my best to identify the circuit break, though without success. But this IIIx was a battery hogger, one batt. per month. Neways, I'm pretty satisfied with my Palm Vx now, and thx GOD its rechargeable!

Note the screens below: The screen shows up only in few columns and the majority of the screen columns are blank.
